UK History Finders - Metal Detecting Group

An active group run from Devon, though most of their digs actually happen over the border in Somerset, with occasional outings in Devon and Dorset. Digs are usually on Sundays, with some Saturdays and Wednesdays thrown in.

Joining is about as painless as it gets — they're currently taking new members and the fee is a one-off £5. The group is NCMD registered and has a large online following, so there's no shortage of company on the field.
