Trowbridge & District Metal Detecting Club

Patience is required at Trowbridge & District. Prospective members attend the monthly meetings for at least three months before being put forward, and even then the club is currently full — a mark of how established it is rather than any unfriendliness.

Formed in 1976, it has grown into one of Wiltshire's main metal detecting clubs and is NCMD registered. The club website carries the detail, and showing your face at meetings is the route in if you're serious about eventually joining.
