St. Edmunds Searchers
Metal detecting club in Bury, Suffolk
Every monthly meeting of the St. Edmunds Searchers has the county Finds Liaison Officer in the room, taking finds away for recording and handing them back the following month — a properly run system plenty of bigger clubs would envy. The club was founded in 2011 and meets in Bury St. Edmunds.
It's a small group with a shared interest in history, and members at every level of experience are encouraged to put their finds on the table, with a monthly finds competition to add a bit of spice. NCMD registered; email for details.
