Isca Metal Detecting Club

Isca is a small Exeter club that keeps things deliberately tight — membership is capped at 30, and the waiting list currently runs to around 18 months. That tells you something about how well it's run.

Members are hobby detectorists with a genuine interest in history, and the club has built solid relationships with landowners, local authorities and the public. It's registered with the NCMD. If you're patient and want in, email them and ask to go on the list.
