Fair warning up front: membership at this Sandwich-based Kent club is currently full, though they run a waiting list for those who'd like the chance to join in future.

It's a club with proper archaeological credentials. They work closely with the Landscape Explorer's Group in the South East, with archaeology bodies and the Portable Antiquities Scheme, and they're affiliate members of the Kent Archaeological Society. NCMD registered too, so things are done by the book.
